Orb does not show you everything. It builds a catalogue around you, from the services you use and the things you tell it. Here is how that happens, in six steps.

1. Tell Orb what matters tonight

Start with ordinary words: a mood, a time limit, a film you love, something you want to avoid.

2. Give your choices a home

Save a search and it becomes a collection you can come back to, like Comedy Night or Other Worlds.

3. Search a real catalogue

Orb looks through real films and series on the services available in your region. It only shows titles that exist in the catalogue.

4. Put the strongest matches first

Results are ordered by how well they fit what you asked for, and grouped by the service that carries them.

5. Shape it with feedback

Likes, saves and “less like this” help Orb understand what you meant.

6. Keep the catalogue useful

Collections keep growing as new titles arrive, and titles you have dismissed stay out of the way.

An example

“I love mysteries, but no graphic violence tonight” creates a focused shortlist for this evening. “Remember that I avoid graphic violence” is a separate request that saves a lasting preference. Orb keeps the two apart, so one evening’s mood does not become a permanent rule.

Where good evenings start.

Every month, we share new Orb features, real evenings, picks worth your time and what we are building next.
