No recommendation is right every time. What matters is what happens after a miss.

A film that looked right

Orb suggests a film that seems to fit everything you have said you like. You watch it and you do not enjoy it. It is not the story or the actors. The pacing was too slow for you.

Say why, not just no

A thumbs down on its own says very little. So you tell Orb what went wrong: the pacing was too slow. With your permission, Orb can use that reason in future suggestions.

Without boxing you in

One slow film should not mean no slow films ever again. Another evening you might want something quiet and thoughtful, and you can simply ask for it. Feedback shapes suggestions; it does not lock you into a category.

  • “Loved this”, “already seen it” and “less like this” each mean something different.

  • You decide whether feedback is used to learn.

  • You can review and change what Orb remembers.

Why it matters

Taste is nuanced. Feedback with context lets Orb improve without guessing, and keeps you in control of how it learns.
