Use Orb, do not fight it
This policy applies to this website, the early-access sign-up, your account and profiles, the Orb apps and your conversations with Orb. Use them for finding and enjoying films and series at home.
This is a draft written for Orb TV's early access. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before Orb is released, and the final version may differ.
Not allowed
• Trying to get unauthorised access, probe security, bypass limits, disrupt the service or add malware or harmful automation.
• Using false identities, impersonating others, spam, phishing or fraudulent sign-ups.
• Asking Orb to produce, or sending, content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, exploitative or meant to deceive.
• Trying to make Orb reveal its instructions, other people's information or anything it is not meant to share.
• Scraping or copying Orb's catalogue or suggestions at scale, or using Orb to build a competing dataset or to train AI models, without written permission.
• Using Orb to get around the access controls or terms of a streaming service.
Your content
You are responsible for what you type or say to Orb and what you add to profiles and collections. Do not share passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in a conversation with Orb.
Accounts and shared TVs
Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if your account may be compromised. On a shared TV, keep personal profiles personal and use the controls Orb gives you to decide what appears on screen.
Enforcement
We may limit, suspend or end access, remove content, or contact the relevant providers or authorities when reasonably needed to protect people, rights or the service. Where it makes sense, we will explain the issue and give you a chance to fix it first.
Report a concern
If you find a security issue or misuse of Orb, tell us responsibly through the contact page or at [hello@orbtv.app], with enough detail to investigate. Please do not share the issue publicly before we have had a chance to fix it.
