Some of the best finds do not come from searching. They arrive when you are not looking, because someone who knows your taste noticed them for you.
An interest you chose to keep
A few weeks ago you told Orb you love Japanese dramas and asked it to remember that. You also turned on background discovery, which lets Orb keep an eye on the catalogue for you.
While you were away
Overnight, a title that matches that interest becomes available in the catalogue for your region. Orb checks it against what you have saved, and against the titles you have already dismissed, so it does not bring back something you said no to.
Waiting when you come back
The next time you open Orb, the title is in “Found for you”. Next to it is a short explanation of why it is there and the latest known way to watch it.
You can open it, save it or dismiss it.
A notification is optional and can stay off.
Background discovery can be paused at any time.
Why it matters
Discovery works best when it starts from something you chose and comes with a reason you can understand. The goal is one good find, not a daily quota of suggestions.
